Toronto, ON, CA

At the Stem Cell Network, I lead initiatives that advance awareness, knowledge exchange, and policy dialogue to strengthen Canada’s regenerative medicine and biotechnology ecosystem. My work spans strategic communications, policy engagement, and public outreach—connecting researchers, policymakers, and partners to accelerate the translation and adoption of advanced therapeutics, including cell and gene therapies.Together with our CEO, I lead SCN’s national project examining regulatory, reimbursement, and implementation pathways for advanced therapeutics, collaborating with like-minded organizations and convening cross-sector partners to inform policy and health system modernization in Canada. In parallel, I continue to champion science literacy and engagement, particularly amongst youth—profiling SCN-funded researchers, hosting the Stem Cells from the Sofa interview series, and developing national collaborations with Let’s Talk Science, ScienceUpFirst and others, to build public trust in science and emerging health innovations.
