About Joanna Qian
My name is Joanna Qian. I am a junior majoring in Finance and Accounting at the University of Maryland, College Park.I am a motivated and curious student with a passion for solving problems, learning new skills, and creating meaningful impact. With hands-on experience in fast-paced, and team-oriented environments, I hope to approach every challenge with creativity, organization, and clear communication, whether it’s leading projects, supporting operations, or engaging with clients and communities.This past summer I was an Operations Intern for The Asia Group, where I strengthened skills in organizational efficiency, time management, discretion with sensitive information, and advanced Excel. Previously, I served as a Marketing Consultant for the Baltimore Community Foundation. I applied skills such as analysis, client relations, communication, and project management to provide research on market trends, and create targeted marketing strategies for our client, in a timely and cohesive manner. Together, these experiences have sharpened my abilities in client communication, strategic analysis, and collaborative teamwork, which I believe would enable me to contribute effectively to future roles.I am always open to new connections, learning experiences, and exciting opportunities.
