As a trustee of “It’s in the Bag,” my primary responsibility is to ensure the charity’s mission is effectively carried out. I work closely with the board and the management team to oversee the strategic direction and governance of the charity. This involves making key decisions on policies, supporting our volunteers and ensuring we are raising the profile of the charity. I am also part of the annual “Test Fest” planning team.Alongside the other Trustees, we ensure that we all operate with transparency and integrity and hold one another accountable.In addition to governance, I am deeply involved in the people-centric aspects of the charity. I collaborate with volunteers and other trustees to create a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone involved. By building strong relationships with stakeholders and the community, I help to raise awareness about testicular cancer and the vital work we do, ultimately contributing to the charity’s growth and success.
