   Evaluate the regional and local geology, geochemistry, geomechanics, hydrogeology, seismicity, well log analysis, and well construction for proposed Class VI injection well projects. • Provide federal and state regulatory support for the development of Class VI carbon sequestration injection well applications. • Ensure completeness of Class VI applications prior to submission to the proper regulatory authority. • Assist in submission of Class VI applications through the USEPA Geologic Sequestration Data Tool (GSDT) • Provide expert level review, analysis and recommendations related to UIC permits and all permit-related actions for Class VI wells. • Review and keep current on the federal and state Underground Injection Control (UIC) rules and become familiar with the objectives and the technical characteristics of the different types of UIC well systems. • Lead teams executing carbon sequestration projects ranging in value from small to over with durations exceeding 12 months. • Track budget and schedule, develop reports, coordinate staffing, balance workload across team members. • Research, summarize, and explain regulatory and technical requirements related to carbon sequestration to technical and non-technical stakeholders and clients. • Write documents and reports, including technical and financial analysis, and provide conclusions and recommendations. • Utilize expertise (technical, logistical, regulatory, and finance) to develop project strategies and assess project risk. • Work with and build relationships with public, commercial, or international customers by managing and executing tasks and delivering high quality client deliverables. • Use familiarity with existing and potential clients, academic researchers, and other consultants to identify new clients and business opportunities. •Support project and business development activities, proposal generation, market assessments, and strategic planning.
