ABOUT JOANNA SANTINON CCMI

Joanna is a Non-Executive Director, and Audit Committee Chair at a number of investment trusts. She is also a Trustee at at The Centre For Entrepreneurs, and an advisor to @Buy Women Built, an organisation that seeks to shine a light on amazing entrepreneurial brands built by women. With general management, board and advisory experience Joanna was a partner at EY until December 2021. Together with her fellow London Board members she was responsible for the the firm\'s £300m + London business\' commercial performance & strategic direction. She led a team of over 100 people across London and the SE providing tax services to private companies and shareholders. As the lead partner for the market leading Entrepreneur of the Year programme she worked with entrepreneurs across a range of sectors, helping them to grow their companies and manage the challenges & opportunities that come from rapidly scaling. She acts as mentor for a number of fast growth companies and has regularly judged entrepreneurs awards - supporting,amongst others, The Asian Stars in UK Tech & Digital Masters Awards. Joanna has over 35 years corporate finance and capital markets experience through her role as a Transaction Tax Partner, with a natural ability to deliver solutions to complex business transactions, while actively managing risk. Joanna was heavily involved in driving EYs diversity & inclusion strategy through her role as partner sponsor for the Women\'s Network across the UK. She is a founding member of the 30% club and cocreator of the 30% club cross company mentoring scheme, which now operates internationally. She won the Women In the City Achievement award in 2013 for her contribution to diversity & inclusion in the field of Accountancy.
