ABOUT JOANNA ROBIN
I’m a New York-based journalist and editor, working for the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. I joined ICIJ from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s bureau in Washington, D.C, where I reported on U.S. politics and culture for ABC News.In 2021, I graduated with overall honors from Columbia Journalism School. My master’s project was published online by The New Republic and featured in its list of the year\'s 10 best stories. Before moving to the United States, I was Melbourne assistant editor at Broadsheet, where I started as a national subeditor in 2017.As a freelancer, I managed communications for journalist Sally Warhaft during her 2018 bid to be lord mayor of Melbourne, and copy edited for the County Court of Victoria. I was previously a senior news writer and section editor at Mamamia, Australia\'s largest independent women\'s media outlet, and a reporter for social-entrepreneurship body Our Community.
