ABOUT JOANNA ROMANOWICZ
I am passionate about sustainability and strive to have a positive impact through empowering others to take action- lifestyle changes and system change are deeply connected and two sides of the same coin, and i believe we need both when addressing the climate and ecological crisis. With over 15 years of professional experience of working in sustainability and climate action, I am currently the director of engagement at SOS-UK, an education charity focused on sustainability. I am part of the charity’s leadership team supporting students and wider society to learn, act, and lead for environmental justice. I have strategic oversight of all of SOS-UK’s sustainability behaviour change and engagement programmes, having experience of managing multi-partner programmes across Europe over the last decade, in education, public, healthcare, cultural and charity sectors. I love seeing how collective impact of individual actions can create a sea-change.
