About Joanna Latek
I am a graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry, where I am completed my doctorate as well as a micro-credential degree in Cornea and Contact Lenses. My primary areas of interest are specialty contact lenses that are used to correct various corneal conditions including Keratoconus. I also developed my skill set for primary care optometry, managing ocular disease, and pediatric optometry with a concentration in myopia management and binocularity. My competencies include a blend of both a science background combined with strong interpersonal skills required to succeed in the optometric healthcare setting. I am excited to continue my education and to become a licensed optometrist to make a difference in the lives of my patients!
