Formerly the Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders.At the urging of one of the center’s previous owners, a nationally recognized expert in treatments for eating disorders, I joined this multidisciplinary treatment center as a volunteer instructor leading adolescent and adult yoga classes for day treatment programs.For 8 years, I served as the center’s Assessment & Intake Coordinator, managing assessments for child, adolescent, and adult clients. I was responsible for determining level of care needed, and encouraging and facilitating patients and their families to obtain that care, as well as overseeing the center’s adolescent outpatient management system.Since 2014, I have focused solely on providing cognitive behavior therapy for eating disorders for adults and Maudsley Family Therapy for children and adolescents. I manage an average caseload of 23 clients per week in day treatment, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs, as well as facilitating weekly psycho-education groups for adolescents and their families. I also lead anxiety management sessions for selected patients.
