Led and delivered Rapid Improvement Events to drive sustainable changes and improvements within Nuclear Operations• Supported the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Engineering Transformational Programme, shaping vision, strategy and workload planning to align with HPC’s business goals• Provided coaching and leadership to develop the new Governance arrangements within the Engineering Directorate for HPC• Worked closely with the Fleet Improvement Programmes setting up their project management structures and driving action in workshop environments• Facilitated cross functional ‘deep dive’ workshops to understand the problem, apply root cause analysis and build a set of metrics to assess the interventions/solutions – notably one on Boiler Tube leaks, to understand the root cause of the leaks and sizing the risk to the generating fleet of a potential leak on concurrent boilers• Lead on the cultural change initiative, embedding the INPO ‘Staying on top’ 5 core principles of a continuous Improvement organisation, into the Station and Centre teams• Passionate about developing a continuous improvement tool kit to empower teams to make changes including owning the training to roll out a new root cause analysis tool, GDAR (Gap, Drivers, Actions & Results)
