About Joann Balous

Across my 27-year career at Travelers, I have built and led teams in Middle Market as well as National Accounts. In my current role, I am responsible for Sales & Marketing in our National Accounts Group which includes Constitution Services our TPA. I support relationship management across 18 sales field offices in the United States. Our goal is to be a best-in-class sales organization with our focus on sales training, developing our new talent, coaching to performance, and reinforcing best practices. We leverage the full capabilities of Saleforce and invest in our customer experience. I feel fortunate that I get to collaborate with field underwriting, marketing, and especially our distribution partners to deliver the right products and services to our customers. One of the most rewarding aspects of this role, is being able to focus on the changing nature of our business and how we can provide total account solutions whether it’s from National Accounts Group or one of our partner business units within Travelers.
