MAJOR DUTIES1. Customer Assistance and Sales- Assist customers in selecting plumbing products, tools, and materials based on their needs (e.g, pipes, faucets, water heaters, plumbing repair kits)- Answer customer questions regarding plumbing systems, product specifications, and usage.2. Product Knowledge and Education- Educate customers about proper installation, maintenance, and repair practices for plumbing products- Demonstrate the use of specific tools or products in-store.3. Sales and Promotions - Cross-sell and upsell plumbing products to customers (e.g, bundling items like pipes and fittings with tools or accessories)- Track customer preferences to recommend relevant products for upcoming home improvement projects. Team Collaboration-Work alongside other associates and management to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve performance and stay up-to-date on new plumbing products.5. Inventory Management-Monitor stock levels for plumbing supplies, ensuring products are consistently available for customers-Assist in inventory counts and help organize the backstock area.6. Forklift Operations & Stock Management- Safely operate a forklift to move heavy or oversized plumbing products, such as water heaters, pipes, and large fixtures, from the stockroom to the sales floor- Use forklift to assist in organizing the warehouse, ensuring that products are easy to locate and retrieve for customer purchases.
