I have a unique role that requires me to collaborate with colleagues across Sustainability, People and Culture and Communications to embed purpose in our culture and business processes.

ABOUT JO ALEXANDER
I am a Chartered Geologist with a passion for mitigating the impacts of climate change through purpose-led business and finance. I\'m committed to contributing to the systemic changes necessary for our organisations to become part of the solution, rather than part of the problem! I believe transformation of our organisations to becoming purpose led is needed to enable people to have purposeful careers that contribute to tackling the world\'s greatest challenges. I caught the purpose bug during my time at On Purpose and A Blueprint for Better Business, where I gained clarity about what I wanted my work in the world to be. I returned to BP in 2020, where I spent the first 11 years of my career, at a significant moment of change in our history. I\'m committed to helping bring their new purpose to life. What an awesome challenge!
