Working closely with Series Producers and Directors my process is to collate all information, visuals and needs from the SP and Directors, running initial bulk searches using a shared excel sheet with new research information, contacts and if possible fee or no fee status for production heads as quickly as possible for the SP or Director to make their initial selection then narrow the process until content is approved and selected. Experience in ordering and handling BBC, BBC DAVINA, Silvermouse, NBC and International footage licensing and third party rights checks. Initiate negotiations to gain the best deals for programmes, check license agreements for broadcasting rights ensuring that in-perpetuity/perpetuity, royalty-free is added to the license agreement to avoid extra cost and best usage for the production.
