In this role I work with players in the Wellington Firebirds, Central Stags and Canterbury Magicians cricket teams providing support around their personal development, career transitioning and risk management. We look after our players as people, assisting them however we can so they develop careers away from sport, make good financial decisions and provide services to assist their wellbeing. This involves:• Providing services for holistic development of professional cricket players.• Encouraging players to make the most of the services and support NZCPA has to offer.• Connecting players with mentors, employers and other service providers.• Building effective relationships with key external stakeholders such as service providers, mentors, employers and NZ Cricket and Major Association staff• Delivering a personal development programme that takes into account the various ages and stages of our players.
