I am the Managing Director and Co‑Founder of Ener‑Vate, a UK heat network consultancy operating at the intersection of strategy, regulation and delivery.I am accountable for setting the strategic direction of the business, leading our senior team, and ensuring we deliver commercially robust outcomes for public and private‑sector clients navigating the transition to low‑carbon heat.With over 20 years’ experience in district heating and heat networks, I have led the development of large‑scale schemes across the UK — from early feasibility and business case development through to procurement, funding strategy, contractual structuring and delivery oversight.My role spans commercial leadership, organisational development, client engagement and market positioning, alongside oversight of complex, multi‑partner projects including city‑scale and zoning‑driven heat networks.I work closely with local authorities, housing providers, developers and investors, and regularly engage with DESNZ and Ofgem on emerging regulatory and zoning frameworks, helping translate policy into investible and deliverable projects.
