ABOUT JO BAILEY-WATSON
In my role as Head of Sustainability Reporting at Optimised Energy, I lead a dedicated team of sustainability specialists to support clients in their reporting activities in alignment with the GRI, SASB, SECR and TCFD frameworks. I have bolstered my Sustainability knowledge by achieving a Sustainability Management certificate from CISL and a climate risk certificate. I am able to draw on my experience as a qualified accountant and over a decade working in audit and assurance to ensure that both internal and external reporting processes are robust and adhere to the highest standards. As ESG controller at a FTSE100, I spearheaded the organization’s journey towards compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This involved completing a Double Materiality Assessment and developing a CSRD data collection methodology.
