Since 2005, Jo Ann has been Senior Vice President for Acquisitions, Development and Project Finance. During the past ten years Jo Ann has acquired more than $90 million in properties, sourced over $300 million in project financing; and is in the process of leading Selig’s partnership interests in developing $270 million in new projects, including a joint venture between Selig and Carter to transform Sandy Springs through the retail and multifamily development portion of the new Sandy Springs City Center project. A frequently requested speaker, Jo Ann is one of only a handful of women who are in the business of real estate acquisitions and development. Selig Enterprises is an Atlanta-based, family-owned real estate development and investment company that focuses on mixed use, retail, industrial and office properties in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. Selig’s portfolio consists of properties in excess of 10 million square feet located in the Southeast, with the largest concentration in Atlanta, Georgia. As Senior Vice President I lead a team in acquiring, developing, selling, and financing of properties for Selig’s portfolio. I lead the company’s annual corporate strategy planning activities and work closely with the executive team on operations and strategy of Selig’s largest subsidiary, Parking.
