Planning, designing, developing, and monitoring of information systems-Posses knowledge, skills and abilities in highly specialized areas which provides strong support for the planning, designing, and developing of work products-Consult with users to identify existing system problems and then evaluates and recommends solutions to meet users needs-Evaluate new software applications, review software updates and identify those that merit action-Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex problems, typically related to system failures with servers, hardware, operating systems, security, applications and data protections-Develop, test, and implement scripts to automate common functions or system operations-Implement and document a backup and recovery plan for assigned systems and lead capacity planning-Plan and coordinate application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs-Oversee requests for support and manage timelines to ensure they are dealt with according to set standards and procedures-Work with Database Administrator to ensure all files and data storage areas are configured and sized to provide for optimal user access within the parameters of system hardware-Ensure that problems are fully documented within the relevant reporting system(s)-Evaluate, plan and coordinate the implementation of preventative measures by analyzing patterns and trends-Develop and support integrations with other applications using appropriate tools-Demonstrate a respectful attitude towards customers and coworkers that promotes teamwork, open communication, and effective customer service-Maintain in-depth knowledge of information technologies and provide expert advice regarding their application-Actively monitor for, and seek opportunities, new methods, trends, capabilities and products for the advancement of the organization-Actively maintain recognized expert level knowledge in applications responsible for.
