I am the Senior Human Resources Manager, overseeing compensation and benefits for the organization. Additionally, I serve as full cycle human capital manager of the corporate office and Patient Communication Center for LCA Vision/LasikPlus. I am consistently motivated and constantly moving forward. My value is to drive the business forward while advocating for the associates. I tell my associates,\"there are the needs of the business, the needs of the associates and it is the goal of human resources to align those needs as closely together as we can. After all, we need a business to have associates, but we need associates to have a business.\"The value I provide to the organization is my strong ethical background, my knowledge of the industry as well as of human capital management, my adaptability and change management, and my dedication to our mission and values. I am the 2012 Service Excellence Award winner for the organization. In 4 short months, I was able to reduce open positions in the organization from 50 to 12 as well as maintaining reductions in cost to fill and days to fill year over year for three consecutive years. I have been able to win several EEOC charges, unemployment tribunals, as well as reduce human capital risk - all while enabling employee engagement. Personally, I love spending time with my family, running, and giving back to the community.
