I serve as Vice President for Enterprise Development & Regional Ventures at Indiana Wesleyan University. We’re focused on creating local partnerships and new ventures that build what\'s next in learning and education.Current projects and themes include: Coaching (life, executive, business, health) Programs that enhance reskilling and upskilling for businesses and communities🧩 Skills grid/skill descriptors‍ Alumni engagement & lifelong learning Mobile career labs (enhancing access to career coaching and education pathways)🤝 Partnership-driven growth🩺 Health hub (education + coaching & clinic services) Blending the K-16 experience VR, AR, and gamified learning Building certificates that connect to degreesPrior to IWU, I served as VP of Student Life for Warner Pacific University in Portland, Oregon, and have held roles as Dean of Students and in student success roles across multiple universities. Before working in higher education, I spent time in journalism and marketing as well as serving as a pastor & church planter.This work is all about helping teams challenge assumptions, identify a clear path forward, and make progress together. In times of complex change, it\'s hard to know where to focus and what to prioritize. I build teams who build what\'s next in organizations that exist for the public good.I\'ve earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University, a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, and an undergraduate degree in journalism and sociology from Texas Christian University.
