Partner with the Division and Enterprise Operations Learning and Development Team and Talent Management Center of Excellence to drive WestRock’s common learning system, processes, and training standards through local team member and leadership support. • Managed a team of 5 to develop and implement a certification database to track on-the-job training and skill/task mastery and used to show training gaps, identify and plan for future training needs, and assess the overall certification process at the mill. • Work closely with site GM and Managers to identify key areas where learning and development would positively impact productivity, retention, and leadership resulting in the design and development of leadership development programs, leadership skills courses, redesigned Maintenance Apprenticeship program, finance and procurement courses, and others. • Coordinate the Maintenance Apprenticeship program, Paper Certification Program, Early Careers Development Program at Stevenson Mill, New Employee Orientation, and Leadership Development Programs.• Administer the Cornerstone Learning Management System for Stevenson Mill by building, tracking, and assigning local online and in-person training and support local system users. • Redesigned, implemented, facilitated, and tracked a new 5-day onboarding experience for new employees that included Role-based onboarding, required Safety and Environmental training, as well as team building and integration activities to ensure retention resulting in consistent program evaluation scores between 4 and 5 on a 5-point scale. • Designed, developed, and facilitated Career Plan class for 100 salary employees resulting in 99% completion of annual My Career Plan development.(Up from 58% the previous year)• Designed an Early Careers Development program for newly-graduated engineers at the Stevenson Mill to develop technical and leadership skills as well as coaching them to develop a plan for their career paths.
