About Joseph M. Orlando

A Graduate of Endicott College and The Massachusetts School of Law, currently the owner at Orlando & Associates, P.C, licensed in the State of Connecticut, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, as well as the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Since he began practicing, Joe has focused in the areas of maritime and land-based personal injury litigation, but also has experience in litigating breach of contract cases and oil spills. Joe was listed in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly\'s Largest Verdicts and Settlements of 2014 and, later, was recognized as a \"Rising Star\" by Super Lawyers Magazine for eight consecutive years (20••••24). Joe has used his law degree to actively give back to the community. Prior to moving back to Gloucester, Massachusetts, Joe was elected to the Town of Hamilton planning board in April of 2013 after serving as an alternate, and then an appointed replacement, since April of 2012. In November of 2015, Joe was elected to the City of Gloucester city council, at-large and took office on January 1, 2016. His term ended on December 31, 2017. Later he joined the board of Gloucester Little League.
