I\'ve worked previously with a ROS-based Sawyer robotic arm for specific image processing/detection using OpenCV. I believe that we can use this and similar technologies to increase efficiency and productivity within our every day lives - for an overall better life experience. I am very drawn towards programming, as it\'s ever-evolving field maintains a challenging, unique, and progressively focused environment. In addition to programming, I spent over thirteen years as a Medic within the Army Medical Command. The military not only taught me high levels of discipline, but prepared me to become a leader and a teacher. Over the years, I\'ve developed a keen sense for attention to detail, hard work ethic, and pride.Outside of coding, I enjoy rock-climbing both indoor and outdoor, road-biking, snowboarding, backpacking/hiking, and occasionally dog-sledding. I specifically enjoy traveling and have visited 36 of the 50 states, and 8 countries. I also enjoy learning about circuitry and general electrical engineering in my spare time.
