About Jordan Middlebrooks

I’ve always believed leadership is about building momentum behind a vision – and empowering others to bring it to life. That belief sparked a passion within me, leading me to pursue Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I now channel that spark into venture capital, leadership, and strategic operations.I currently serve as the Vice President of the Business Leaders of UConn where I’ve contributed to 72% of our spring programming – leading collaborations, hosting guest speakers from corporate entities, and coordinating events with my Executive Board. I also work as a Mentor coach at the Academic Achievement Center, creating a class curriculum for nine students as well as supporting students with academic needs through personalized academic coaching. In one of my most rewarding experiences, I led a startup team that placed 4th out of 6th at the Entrepitch competition hosted by Hofstra University after beating out over 40 teams. Through this role I developed cross-functional collaboration, financial analysis, public speaking, and project management skills - all backed by a data-driven growth mindset. Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I enjoy playing instruments as a creative outlet. This helps me stay grounded but also sharpens the focus and discipline I bring to leadership, problem-solving, and the rest of my professional skillset. I’m also passionate about lifelong learning – whether it’s learning a new subject, building new skills, or exploring new ideas.I’m interested in opportunities in venture capital, supply chain, risk management, consulting, wealth management, and business operations – where I can help contribute to meaningful results.Let’s connect!
