About Michael Tasse
Michael Tasse grew up in Detroit, Michigan, a diverse region heavily influenced by manufacturing, which has since played an integral role in defining his career. He studied Economics and Political Science at Michigan State University, holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. In support of his keen interest in global business and linguistics, he has been privileged to support work across Canada, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Uganda, and across the United States.Michael began his career in management consulting working for the boutique Chicago-based Gillum Strategy Partners. Predominately centered in HVAC and sheet metal manufacturing, his engagements included the implementation of Six Sigma, Lean, and Sales and Operations Planning (S & OP) manufacturing practices, along with the development of sales strategy, policy deployment, and logistics strategy refinement. After consulting, Michael became the Global Director of Continuous Improvement for Nortek HVAC focusing on the implementation of S & OP throughout the three business of Nortek Air Solutions, Global (residential) HVAC, and Data Centers. He also spearheaded Lean initiatives, cost improvement programs, and product and material rationalization programs leading up to a successful acquisition by Chicago-based Madison Industries.Michael joined S&P USA as a consultant with the goal of driving safety, reducing lead times, improving quality, increasing throughput, and implementing 5S plant and warehouse organizational activities. Shortly after, he accepted the Director of Operations position and fulfilled the role of interim-plant manager. Following the acquisition of United Enertech, Michael was promoted to the role of V.P. of Operations overseeing manufacturing for the United States and supporting supply to our partner S&P Canada. In 2024 he was promoted to the President of S&P USA, based in Jacksonville, Florida.Michael holds citizenship in both The United States and Italy.
