Michael grew up in the Valley of the Sun and began his career in the risk management and insurance industry in 2004, after graduating from Arizona State University\'s W.P. Carey School of Business. He began his training at the Hartford School of Insurance and subsequently completed his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation in 2005. He was also accredited as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 2006. In 2012, he completed his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation. Additionally, Michael attended the Institute of WorkComp Professionals where he became a Certified WorkComp Advisor (CWCA). As a certified risk manager, He seeks to reduce business\' total cost of risk through the use of risk management tools and data analysis.
