About Jagan Mohan Chindam
Authored and produced 50+ science fiction and general fiction radio plays, and scripts on diverse science topics. National Awards: First Prize for Best Documentary (feature on sound pollution). Best Science Fiction Play (written, directed, produced, and performed by him). Contributor to a Best Innovative Production award-winning feature. Produced 200+ 3D and 2D animation projects. Directed 50+ documentaries, 30 promotional films, and 17 corporate profile films. Pioneered the production of chess game highlights during the World Chess Championship at Sanghi Nagar, broadcast globally via Star TV and Door darshan. Introduced Charu Sharma to television as an anchor and commentator. Leadership Role with Zee Group Jagan briefly served as President of the D-Cinema Division at Padmalaya Telefilms Ltd.(a Zee company), where his digital cinema technologies were considered for acquisition. He was among the earliest advocates for Digital Cinema in India, showcasing the technology at large public events attended by ministers and dignitaries. • Developed restoration and 2D-to-3D conversion tools. • Set up the world\'s largest studio for film restoration and colorization with over 180 staff per shift. • Produced and directed major restoration projects: o Maya Bazaar (Telugu) – Colorization and restoration. o Satyaharishchandra (Kannada) – Restoration and colorization. o GUIDE (Hindi) – Restored for Cannes Film Festival 2008 (Cannes Classics category). o HUM DONO (Hindi) – Restoration and colorization. o Restoration of 8 Russian films, 12 Hollywood classics, and 8 hours of WWII footage for French Government Archives. He also innovated with AR (Augmented Reality) educational content for Mahindra, Maruti, and created preschool learning apps. In 3D technology, he developed 3D Holography solutions for marketing, exhibitions, malls, and Defence presentations, working with clients like Maruti, GTRE, Ministry of Telecom, Telangana Greyhounds, and others. His holography systems even drew interest from Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar for naval design Temple Media and Film Production As a Producer Member of the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, Jagan founded Temple Media, focusing on creating original content across platforms. His first feature film, S-99 (Telugu), was released on March 1, 2024, across both Telugu-speaking states and dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, marking his strong entry into mainstream cinema.
