During my accounting internship at The Chateau Grande Hotel, I gained hands-on experience in various aspects of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and daily accounting operations. I assisted in preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and supporting the month-end close process. Throughout my internship, I worked closely with senior accountants and cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. I had the opportunity to collaborate directly with an external team of accountants from Caruso Thompson LLC, which allowed me to gain valuable exposure to outside consulting and advisory processes. In addition, I worked extensively with M3 accounting software to input and analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
