About Joseph Markola

I am a senior student at Fordham University\'s Gabelli School of Business at Rose Hill. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. I am born and raised in New York City, and I am looking to expand my connections in the business world. I am a motivated student with interpersonal skills and the determination to strive to the next level. My goal is to eventually develop the financial skills and expertise to make a change in the world.Before enrolling at Fordham, I spent my entire high school figuring out my career path. I was fortunate enough to work at a law office during my sophomore year. I loved learning about the basics of law and exactly what was required to pursue that field. In addition to law, I\'ve always had this gut feeling of learning about business. It\'s very fascinating to learn about the economy and the fundamentals of business because everywhere we turn, we are surrounded by the ramifications of business principles. Thus, throughout the remainder of my high school, I spent some time financially analyzing businesses and learning about the stock market. Once I enrolled at Fordham, I continued my passion by joining the Finance Society and Investment Banking Society. I also contributed to our family started LLC by assisting in investment research and due diligence on cryptocurrencies and frontier/space investments.Besides talking about my career interests in finance and law, I also have a passion for soccer. I have played travel soccer for about 15 years and was graciously honored to serve the role as team captain of the soccer team. In addition, I also love to travel as I visited several countries such as Italy, Belgium, Iceland, Albania, and Mexico. The best part about traveling is being able to witness the beautiful scenery and unique culture that each country provides. Lastly, I love cycling because it\'s a great exercise and it allows me to clear my head after a long day of school/work.
