ABOUT JULIEN L.
I’m a 2x founder and Principal Architect who loves turning early ideas into scalable systems. Over the past 13+ years I’ve co-founded and engineered two venture-backed startups - Prizeout and Fleetwit - building everything from microservice architectures and real-time APIs to embeddable SDKs and partner/merchant portals.My focus is system design: microservices, event-driven backends, distributed systems, and data pipelines. I work full-stack in Node.js, Python, and TypeScript/React, with strong experience in Postgres, Redis, Docker, and GCP. I also design and build AI-driven systems, including agentic and multi-agent architectures, where reliability and scalability matter as much as intelligence.I thrive in zero-to-one environments, where ambiguous ideas need to become production-grade products - fast, correct, and built to evolve. I enjoy mentoring, setting technical direction, and shipping systems that support both business growth and developer velocity.I’m especially interested in DeFi and smart contracts. Decentralized applications present novel challenges in system design, reliability, and user experience, and I’m motivated to apply my background in scalable microservices, fintech, and AI to this new frontier.
