   ATTORNEY ADVERTISING] Jason Greenberg is a partner in the New York office of Fried Frank, where he concentrates his practice on intellectual property and technology contracts, including licensing, development, services, outsourcing, and other commercial agreements. Jason also regularly counsels established and emerging companies, as well as private equity firms, banks, and hedge funds, on the intellectual property and technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions. He also advises clients on open source best practices, data harvesting, digital media, and infringement disputes. In addition, Jason dedicates a substantial amount of his time to pro bono work, including counseling education, advocacy, and other nonprofit organizations on intellectual property development and protection and negotiating content licenses and vendor, consultant, and sponsorship agreements on their behalf. Jason is a frequent author and has published articles on topics such as open source and data licensing and protection. He has also led multiple seminars and webinars on these topics and was a featured panelist at the 2014 annual meeting of the American Intellectual Property Law Association on the topic of the transferability of intellectual property licenses in corporate transactions and a featured speaker at London\'s 2013 Digital Shoreditch Festival on the topic of U.S. IP and technology legal issues for tech SMEs considering U.S. expansion.
