ABOUT JOÃO GOMES
I am João, a Portuguese/Brazilian Product Designer, Interaction Designer and Web Developer based in Berlin, Germany. I combine best practices in user-centered design, interaction design, UI design and design systems development, together with cutting-edge tools and technologies to deliver world-class digital experiences for businesses and their customers. In my current role at Nivoda, I am contributing with research, design delivery and design systems development and management to build our next-generation diamonds and gemstones marketplace. I have been involved end-to-end in designing, delivering and supporting features touching IoT, internal management systems and e-commerce experiences — both B2C and B2B2C. With a deep interest in design, tech and music, I have over 15 years of experience employed in SaaS and E-Commerce startups, digital agencies, as a freelancer and contractor. I have performed as a graphic, web and UX designer, and even as a web developer and musician, so I have become accustomed to wearing many hats.
