As Director of Data Architecture, I lead the strategy, governance, and technical design of our modern data platform, enabling high-scale claims processing, regulatory compliance, and No Surprises Act (NSA) arbitration workflows. I own the long-term architecture across modeling standards, governance, lineage, and metadata, and define the roadmap that guides decisions in ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and storage. I partner closely with executive leadership to ensure data capabilities align with product and regulatory priorities. I architect and operate a modern data stack leveraging Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Airbyte, and event-driven automation; oversee ingestion systems processing 50k+ daily emails, documents, and EDI files (835/837); and build modular, performant data models that support analytics, adjudication, and operational workflows. I mentor and develop data engineers, establish best practices for CI/CD, testing, deployment, and orchestration, and drive platform stability through simplification, automation, and proactive risk reduction.
