Facilitates and administers recruitment activities for the Department. Coordinates activities in support of the development and implementation of the Department’s recruiting plans and strategies. Travels within and outside of the state of Texas for recruiting events and fairs including virtual attendance when required. Engages and maintains extensive contact with the public, high school and college administrators, community organizations and governmental agencies regarding a multitude of education and employment opportunities (current and future) within the Agency. Reviews applications, suggests best practices to prospective applicants to increase visibility including review of the application and referring resume to hiring team. Manages and develops social media postings for the Talent Acquisition Teams travel and recruitment efforts on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram). Posts hard-to-fill positions on social media and other advertisement platforms while working directly with HRD Generalists/DD/DE’s to determine additional needs. Manages all activities involved in the current Conditional Grant Program.
