Duty to Care - Generation to Generation Greater opportunity creates greater outcomes - in sport, and in lifeAs a Director of the Laterman Family Foundation, which was founded by his parents, Frances Iger Laterman and the late Bernard Laterman, Mr. Laterman oversees the Foundation’s multigenerational commitments to a wide array of non-profit religious, health, public education, and social justice, literary, and scientific charities and institutions.A substantial portion of the Foundation’s annual gift-giving are for the welfare of the Jewish people, and the support of medical, educational, cultural, and philanthropic organizations affiliated with Jewish institutions. At Mr. Laterman’s children’s urging from their awareness of the growth of hate online, in September 2024 the Laterman Family Foundation announced the creation of its “Address Hate Initiative.” With the philanthropic grant of $1 million dollars, Mr. Laterman is spearheading the Foundation’s efforts to fight antisemitism and hate on social media. A Rich and Varied Business CareerMr. Laterman is the Chief Business Development Officer and General Counsel of his family’s office which has over 40 years of technology, medical, real estate, private equity, and public company investment. With over 30 years as a successful attorney, entrepreneur, and investor, he has served as Founder, Chief Executive Officer, General Counsel, Chief Development Officer of entertainment, technology, data and analytics, and banking and finance companies.
