The UHI Group (aka Ultimate Hydroforming Inc.) is a true full-service Stamping and Assembly facility. I have known the Klyns for many years, and I have seen their business grow to be one of the true full-service powerhouses in the Detroit area. UHI has assembled experienced key team members from the entire industry, and all of them have a true desire to provide the best possible experience for their customers. UHI started in 1979 and has grown from a small niche supplier of hydroformed details to a full-service stamping and assembly supplier for the automotive and aerospace industries. The extreme detail and skill required to produce aerospace components flow into the mindset of making high-quality parts and assemblies for the automotive and transportation industries. It is an exciting time at UHI. Within the last 4 years, the company has grown from having 6 facilities to 11, totaling over sq.ft. We have a new large press line (180”) with 4 presses lead by a 3800-ton toggle press. Our expanded assembly operations has many automated assembly cells for body-in-white and chassis builds. The new 20 ft CMM has tradition point capturing and the latest Laser Scanning technology all on the same machine.
