My Key Accountabilities include: Serve as the point of contact for employees and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures-Partner with the HR Manager/Director on matters involving policies and procedures, compensation, benefits administration, labor law compliance, and employee relations-Act as a key resource to the business unit in interpreting human resources policies and procedures, legal compliance, and employment law. Partner with the Manager/Director to ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies. Assist in resolving employee-related issues in collaboration with BU leadership and the HR Manager-Support recruitment and staffing functions within the business unit. Provide core customer service and administrative support to clients and employees on general human resources, benefits, employment, and payroll questions-Review, verify, and process all new hire paperwork for accuracy and completeness, including coordinating and verifying benefits enrollment-Assist with onboarding new hires. Review personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, as well as changes in wage rates and job roles of current employees-Record new or updated pay rates in the payroll register or computer systems-Compile and prepare payroll-related data such as 401(k), FSA, and insurance information-Review payroll for assigned locations to ensure accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
