Senior energy systems leader with 15+ years driving innovation across microgrids, distributed generation, and energy storage. I bridge technical execution with business strategy, lead global cross-functional teams, and shape how hybrid power systems get designed, financed, and deployed at scale.At Clarke Energy, I lead global microgrid strategy — integrating gas engines, CHP, energy storage, and renewables for industrial, utility, and AI data center applications. I\'ve developed over 500 MW of hybrid energy projects across the US, UK, Australia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, secured a $52M DOE grant for a long-duration solar-storage microgrid in Casa Grande, AZ, and directed feasibility and pre-sales modeling for more than $1B in global pipeline opportunities.My current focus is on the architecture and procurement challenges of powering volatile, high-density compute loads — where conventional generation assumptions break down and inverter-led hybrid designs become essential. I write and speak regularly on hybrid energy systems for AI infrastructure and microgrid controls — recent venues include AEE World 2025, AEE West 2026, EUEC 2025, and Phoenix Tech Talks.
