   Dr. Harter is the primary researcher and author of the first meta-analysis to investigate the relationships between work-unit employee engagement and various performance outcomes, including profitability, productivity, turnover, customer engagement, safety, and health. This study, which is updated annually, currently covers more than business or work units and 44 industries. Results of the 2002 study, which were published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, was awarded the Outstanding Publication in Organizational Behavior award from the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management in 2003.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
