As Associate Head of School, I ensure that CU Coventry\'s and CUG\'s high-quality provision gives students the best opportunity to progress and succeed on their destination programmes and facilitate their future career path. My responsibilities include, but not limited to: Ensures CU Coventry’s high-quality provision empowers 800+ students across BA Tourism & Hospitality Management, BA Marketing & Public Relations and BA Business Management & Leadership programmes to progress and succeed. Leads and manages 20 tutors, overseeing teaching, assessment and student outcomes, fostering progression and future career opportunities. Participates in course planning, development and review, contributing to University quality assurance procedures and self-assessment. Employs innovative pedagogic practices, integrating new technologies and diverse methodologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Plans and delivers tailored learning programmes, supporting students through target setting, action planning and progression activities. Demonstrates expertise in curriculum leadership, achieving exceptional student retention, progression and success rates. Skilled in fostering inclusivity, innovation, and operational excellence while achieving key institutional targets. Leads the Charity and Internal Events Team, driving impactful campus-wide initiatives. Recognised with the 2022 ‘I Love My Staff’ Best Tutor of the Year Award and nominated in 2023 and 2024, with consistent role model and exceptional performance accolades. Pursuing progression to Professor of Education, focusing on impactful research, academic leadership and external professional engagement.
