About Jaskiran Kaur

Pursued an LL.M degree in Corporation Law at New York University. At NYU, I received the prestigious Dean’s Graduate Award and George Colin Award, and had taken specialised corporate courses including M&A in Distressed Situations, Corporate Finance, Restructuring Firms and Industries, Secured Transactions, Corporations and Negotiations. Before NYU, I worked as a corporate associate with IndusLaw. My practise areas primarily included private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate & commercial advisory. In my practice, I have advised clients across various sectors, including real estate, fin-tech, logistics, pharmaceuticals, F&B, e-commerce, on a range of corporate transactions such as investment and acquisitions, structuring and advisory, general corporate & commercial matters and real estate development. I have also advised multinational corporations and start-ups on a wide array of legal issues relating to foreign direct investment, land acquisition, and employment laws etc. I have particular experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial documents, such as business and asset transfer agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholder’s agreements, service & employment agreements and other miscellaneous commercial agreements.
