Still working within the Instagram Division)- Hands on Crisis Support within Meta solving high pressure challenges (Including November 2022’s Instagram Account Crash)- Led an internationally distributed team focused on the product growth of the Facebook family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger) in the EMEA region- Team lead on Workplace from Facebook Org Comms Mobile- Mobile Growth Hacker on Workplace - leading the team around Acquisitions and Activation of companies on Workplace- Built the team and shipped the first version of Workplace which allowed companies with a business email to collaborate with coworkers having a free-mail (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) etc- Implemented the architecture for supporting sounds & easy access in the Facebook Android application- I contributed software engineering expertise in the development of products through the software lifecycle just before the announcement of Facebook’s name change to Meta, from requirements definition through successful deployment- I facilitated customization of systems by encouraging software engineering team to adopt new emerging standards for software application development architecture and tools- In this position I expanded my knowledge in many Programming Languages especially Python & JavaScript. I’ve also gained an acute understanding of other platforms one being an open-source JavaScript framework and library called React.js which was built by Facebook Developers- Myself and my team also led Third Party Collaborations with AWS Cloud (Amazon Web Services) – Assisting Amazon’s team to maintain business applications and critical infrastructure. Using AWS to support further Acquisitions of companies that were already powered by AWS. Eventually integrating AWS services into Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Workplace, WhatsApp & Instagram.
