As the Director of Infrastructure at New American Funding, I guide a diverse, talented team across our Network, Systems, and Database operations. I oversee a wide array of Infrastructure systems, ensuring the successful implementation, continuous support, and ongoing enhancement of our applications, network, servers, VDI, data center, SaaS, and IaaS. My responsibilities include managing an intricate, hybrid architecture of on-prem and cloud-based systems, navigating an environment of multiple operating systems, and facilitating robust support for our DevOps team. With an eye towards the future, I am leading our transition to a primarily Azure-based infrastructure, including O365 and Azure for our infrastructure services. My role includes a significant virtualization component, as I operate VMWare atop our Nutanix HCI system. Beyond technological supervision, I strive for excellence in team leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder collaboration. I aim to align our work with company priorities and goals, provide clear expectations, and maintain accountability among my team. I foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, and I\'m dedicated to coordinating roles and tasks effectively to drive success. I believe in the power of clear, effective communication and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, SLAs, and a knowledge base. Staying abreast of developing regulatory concerns and evolving IT and information security trends is a core part of my role.
