The Bay Area Advertising Relief Committee is a non-profit organization that provides critical aid to individuals and families in the San Francisco Bay Area advertising, marketing, and PR community that are experiencing an emergency or crisis. BAARC hosts a program to mentor novice professionals entering the industry.I volunteer my skills as a communications manager; implementing an organizational communications plan involving all board members and volunteers. Manage the content strategy, and social communications via multiple social channels. Develop marketing materials for various campaigns; awareness, fundraising, events, educational outreach and more. Conduct interviews with key members of BAARC, write blog posts, manage email marketing campaigns (Vertical Response on Salesforce) and our content team, and provide creative direction and design.*This is a volunteer role. I do not receive monetary compensation, but I do receive gratitude for my contribution to the community and industry. It feels good to do good things for others -)
