WORK HISTORY
Executive Director @Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum
About the company: The Healthcare Executive Forum was a startup invitation-only think tank and network for groups of 30 to 40 C-suite healthcare executives from organizations with budgets from $500M to $60B to share information and build relationships through sponsored quarterly and biannual events at high-end venues. The Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum acquired Healthcare Executives Forum in 2020. My journey through the hospitality industry took a different turn when I was recruited to join the Healthcare Executive Forum and, later, the Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum. These roles represented opportunities to build relationships and create memorable experiences for totally different audiences. The beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic generated an unexpected landscape for healthcare executives, many of whom were already participating in the Healthcare Executive Forum. By facilitating the transition to remote events, I maintained those groups sharing vital information. My work remained the same after the transition to the Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum. I am now facilitating the return to live events and am still involved in every detail to ensure consistency in their flawless execution. I continue to meet the needs of executives with compelling content and meet the organization’s financial targets by securing sponsorships and increasing the participant pipeline. DELIVERED RESULTS: Maintained high-level executive attendees active by transitioning into subject- and industry-focused virtual national programs in 2020 and 2021 with up to 150 participants and an average group size of ~60 to ~75. Obtained insights about trending topics for chief information security officers through individual 30-minute telephone calls to craft compelling content. Strengthened individual relationships with event participants and sponsors through consistent personalized communications.

ABOUT JJ WOOTEN
I am a knitter at heart, on a mission to create unimagined relationships and collaborations to achieve business and personal goals in welcoming environments. My career and my personal interests have taken me to explore what, at first, may seem divergent paths. I have worked in four-star hotels, had my own businesses, organized niche tours, and, lately, become the matchmaker for cybersecurity & healthcare C-suite executives and specialized event sponsors to find solutions to some of our society’s most critical challenges. What do all these ventures have in common? It is my passion to envision, conceptualize, and execute flawless events at one-of-a-kind venues that create the right atmosphere for relationships to flourish & drive business growth. My personality & my business acumen are my secret sauce. I am an entrepreneurial liaison who handles all the behind-the-scenes virtual and in-person event planning responsibilities. I always make sure that organizations obtain the highest ROI, reach their revenue goals & meet those critical KPIs, and thrive at keeping connections alive between events. I am excited about business growth. As an independent sales representative, one of my clients evolved from a solopreneur into an entrepreneur with 4K square feet of rented space and 15 employees. Earlier in my career in hotels in Alaska, I led a team of 40 and oversaw capital investments and 10-year plans while maintaining day-to-day operations. Examples of my recent career highlights include: Boosted engagement in ~150 sessions, including virtual national programs in 2020 and 2021 and in-person events in Baltimore, Jacksonville, Nashville, & Memphis, for collaborative conversational meetings of up to 60 participants, with an average event budget of $15K and revenue goal of $65K. Developed online collaborative conversational meetings & roundtables for groups of 60 to 75 C-suite healthcare executives to share best practices & lessons learned at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spearheaded business development by maintaining the collaborative outcomes-based appeal of the Health Executives Forum during its transition into the Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum. My areas of expertise include: High-End Corporate Event Planning & Management | Customer Service | Relationship Development | Stakeholder Management | In-Person & Virtual Events | Business Development | Creative Problem-Solving | Budget Management & Forecasting | Business Plans & Roadmaps | Contract Negotiations | Team Coaching & Development | Attention to Detail | ROI | KPIs
