About Jordan Madden
Jordan Madden is a recent graduate of Georgia State University, where he earned a B.S. in Public Policy with a concentration in Governance and Management and a minor in English. He is now fully devoted to building a better Georgia through strategic advocacy, public service, and community-centered leadership.Jordan has held numerous leadership roles, including President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Student Assistant and Advisory Board Chair for The 1913 Society, and 93rd Speaker of the Senate in the Student Government Association. He served on both the Student Activity Fee and Mandatory Fee Committees, helping to oversee student fee budgets and advocating for campus improvements and equitable resource allocation.Professionally, Jordan worked as a Legislative Aide and Constituent Services Coordinator for State Senator Sonya Halpern (D-39), managing legislative priorities, constituent casework, social media, and district communications. He also interned with the Intercultural Development Research Association (IDRA), conducting policy research and advocacy focused on education equity in Georgia.As a core organizer with the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition, Jordan led efforts to establish early voting locations on college campuses and helped mobilize students to advocate for K–12 and higher education policy reforms. He collaborated with state and local coalitions to drive youth civic engagement and equity-centered education policy.Jordan was recently appointed and confirmed by Commissioner Mo Ivory (District 4) to the Fulton County Citizens Commission on the Environment, where he works to advise on sustainability policy and promote environmental accountability countywide.He is married to his wife, Blandine, whom he met during his time at Georgia State. They live in Clayton County, Georgia with their puppy, Rodrigo. One of eight siblings and a twin, Jordan enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.Grounded in his Christian faith, Jordan and his wife are members of Calvary’s Harvest Baptist Church in Jonesboro, GA and is beginning his journey into ministry, serving in his local church and spreading the gospel message to the surrounding communities. He hopes to integrate faith and policy in his future, aiming to uplift underserved voices and build more just, compassionate systems.
