   April 2012 onward with GHCL Foundation Trust • Sanitation Project: Heading Tata Water Mission (TWM) project supported by “Coastal Salinity Prevention Cell” (CSPC) of Sir Ratan Tata Trust. GHCL is committed to making Open Defecation Free (ODF) India to support Swachh Bharat Mission. The project aims to make 30 villages ODF, under the mission mode as per the MOU with the Government of Gujarat. Till date, GHCL has constructed 6,380 sanitation units in 46 villages.• Education: established 6 alternative education centers (site schools) for more than 200 students who had dropped-out from primary education. Managed over 16 members’ team, including their yearly performance and evaluation exercises. • Under “Project Vidya Jyoti”, support provided to government primary schools and Anganwadis in 20 villages with community participation. The project has ensured 100% enrolment by patents counseling and improvement of pedagogy through teacher training.• Health: Managing Mobile Medicare Unit that provides medical service. The unit, comprised of a team of MBBS Doctor, lady pharmacists, field supervisor and driver, covers 20 interior villages every week. • Women empowerment: Managing more than 200 SHGs (Self-help Groups) in 40 villages. Key functions include planning, organizing, leading and controlling of seven village volunteers’ team for the same. These groups are engaged in micro finance and micro enterprise activities. • Awards: Contributed in the entire process of nomination and counter-information, resulting in GHCL Foundation Trust receiving the prestigious award for \"Sustainable and Impactful CSR Project - 2017\' presented by Gujarat State CSR Authority.
