   As part of the Expedia Pricing team, delivering hotel price and availability data via a scalable microservices architecture using Java, Scala, Spring WebFlux, and Redis- Led design and architecture for new features, including documentation and UML/sequence diagrams. Designed and implemented a backfiller app to populate Redis cache with pricing data, improving client latency and reducing load on core services- Developed a Kinesis Client Library-based service, which efficiently integrates with Redis for downstream consumption- Built multiple scheduler applications to support pricing data ingestion workflows, utilizing Netflix Hollow for data serialization and AWS services like S3 and Parameter Store- Created an upselling feature for Expedia, comprising a microservice app offering tailored recommendations to users during flight or hotel bookings, such as hotel options, local attractions, or transportation suggestions, determined by user preferences and booking history. Utilized Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and Project Reactor in the technology stack. Involved in all project stages from design to deployment.
