I’m an infrastructure engineer at Contentful, working on distributed systems, low-latency software, and the sort of database problems that only become “interesting” at scale: Aurora, logical replication, sharding, DBSRE, streaming, and performance optimization. Recently, I’ve been building Kafka-based pipelines to generate embeddings in a vector database for semantic search.
